The main duties & responsibilities of this section are .......

  • To Scrutinized & forward the proposals for establishment of New Technical Institutes, to start New Courses & Increase/Decrease in intake of an existing Institutes.
  • To Scrutinized & forward the proposals for Continuation of an existing Institutes.
  • To control over the Enterence Exams/admissions in Diploma, Degree, Post Graduate Degree in aided/unaided colleges.
  • To verify a merit list of the students admitted in 1st year & Direct 2nd year Diploma, Degree courses in aided/unaided institutes.
  • To keep update the statistical informations about admissions and other information about institutions under this region.
  • To issue "No Objection Certificate" to the student for change of course/ change of institution.
  • To provide information to the students about admission rules of various courses under this Directorate.
  • To attend the court matter related to this section.

  • Promotion/Transfer of Class III & Class IV Staff.
  • To Prepare & publish the seniority list of Class III & Class IV Staff.
  • Maintain the service book.
  • Sanction the leave.
  • Deputation of faculty & staff for training & higher education.
  • Increament of staff of Government Institutes.
  • To provide the information to various higher offices about establishment section of Government & Govt.-aided institutions of under this region.

  • To prepare Budget/reconciliation of Government & aided institutions.
  • To Distribute the grants to the Government Institutions & to control over the utilisation of this grants as per the instructions given by the Directorate.
  • Maintain GPF account of class IV staff of Government & Class I to IV of Govt.-aided Institutions.
  • Controlling financial matters of the institutions in the region..
  • To prepare the paybill of staff.
  • To grant permission to the educational tour of the students in Government Institutions.
